Kalooki.co.uk has been working closely with RummyRoyal.com to develop a version of the game, as we play it here in the UK. This is now up and running and is called Kalooki 40. (For obvious reasons!)

They have a variation of Kalooki that requires 51 points to 'come down' and allows you to take another players discards in-hand without having to use them straight away.
